Dear Friends,

I wanted to express a quick thank you to those who supported me in various ways during my successful campaign for State Senate.  My wife Mary Jo and I cannot express enough appreciation for the support we received over the past 16 months.  My campaign's message of accoutability and fiscal responsiblity resonated with the voters of Racine County, but I would not have been successful without the sacrifices and support that so many friends, family members, and strangers provided over the course of the campaign.

Now the real work begins.  We must hit the ground running in January to balance our state budget, grow our state's economy, and get Wisconsin back to work.  Please continue to keep in touch with me as we tackle these enormous challenges.  I don't just want you behind me; rather, I want us to move forward side-by-side...together we can get Wisconsin back on the right track.
